Before getting caught up in all the back to school activities, which is right around corner, make sure to spend some time organizing the home and putting things away that you won't be using any longer.

-Muddy tennis shoes- after the mud has completely dried on the shoes, take them outside and bang them together to remove any excess dirt. Gently scrub the shoes using a solution of clean water mixed with some detergent. A tooth brush would be a handy tool to get in the smaller spaces of the tennis shoe. Wipe with a damp towl and let them air dry.

-Dirty pool toys- Using warm water and some bleach, soak the toys for five to ten minutes. Rinse, air dry, and store away for next summer!

-Beach towels- using the hottest water setting, clean the summer beach and pool towels. Dry with softening sheets and store away.

-Outdoor plastic tablecloths- wipe them down with some dish soap!
